Who We Are
Dr Ranulf Crooke
MBBS BSc(Hons) MRCGP DFSRH PGDip SEM AFMCP-UK
Dr Crooke graduated from Guy's, King's and St Thomas' Medical School in 2007 having completed an undergraduate degree in Physiology. He moved to Gloucestershire to complete his General Practice training.
He is completing a Masters in Sports and Exercise Medicine at the University of Bath, researching the effects of high intensity-interval training in patients with prostate cancer. He has also worked in sports medicine and musculoskeletal clinics.
He is particularly passionate about helping people increase their physical activity. Combining a background in human physiology and sports and exercise medicine, Dr Crooke believes in helping people achieve their best through optimising their exercise physiology, sleep physiology, stress, nutrition, environment and lifestyle.
Our clinic is located in the centre of Cheltenham, in the Heart of the Cotswolds. The Cotswold Optimal Health Clinic is situated within a stones throw of the famous tree-lined Promenade with its Regency frontage and its high-end shops. Parking is available to the front of the clinic or the public car parks on St Georges Road and Chapel Walk.
